He Said, She Heard
A lot of the gags, in this show, were inspired by an Australian comedy video from the 1990's called Bargearse. The video from Australia's The Late Show presents a less-than-camera-friendly detective, solving cases, on who ate his donuts, or who stole Bargearse's pizza. On a few episodes of He Said, if you hear donuts being mentioned, or Fox's voice getting a bit husky, you'll know where that inspiration came from.
